Venue - EMChIE 2019 is cancelled

Welcome to Nantes, host of EMChIE 2019

Nantes is located about 50 km from the Atlantic coast. It is the 6th largest city in France.

Located 100 km from Rennes, Nantes is the biggest city in the Armorican region and the historical capital of Brittany, acting as a natural gateway to the West. Everything here is an echo of Brittany: the Château des ducs de Bretagne, which was the work of François II and his daughter, the Duchess Anne of Brittany, the canal connecting Nantes to Brest, the countless crêperies lining the city streets…

All you want to know about Nantes

EMChIE will be held at IMT Atlantique Campus Nantes.

The campus extends along the Erdre river a few kilometres from the city centre over a vast area of 15 hectares north of Nantes. It is at the heart of Atlanpole, the Nantes technopole, entirely dedicated to cutting-edge technologies, which also houses other higher education institutions, research centres and business incubators.
The campus lives at the rhythm of this western metropolis which combines strong economic development, pleasant living environment, historical heritage and rich cultural activity. It is no coincidence that Nantes now leads all the major French cities in population growth.
