Camera-ready submission guidelines

RSP and other events under ESWeek are sponsored by IEEE and ACM. For the 2023 edition, ACM holds the copyright of these events, including RSP. Thus, we kindly ask the authors to use the ACM templates for preparing the final version of their paper for the proceedings.

Note that the RSP’2023 proceedings will be published and distributed in IEEE Xplore and ACM Digital Library.

 

Copyright form:

  • ACM will send you soon an email with complete instructions and a link to fill out and sign ACM’s e-Rights Form.
  • After completing your rights form, you will be emailed the correct rights management text and bibliographic strip to place within your paper. Authors must enter this text into their paper on the first page in the lower left hand corner (see ACM templates below).

Note that as rights management emails are sent from an automated system, there is a chance that emails sent will wind up in SPAM folders. Please make sure that you set email SPAM settings to allow emails from rightsreview@acm.org

Camera-ready paper preparation:

Please make sure to consider the following guidelines in preparing the final version of your paper:

  1. All papers are allocated a maximum of 7 pages.
  2. Using the ACM two-column LaTeX (or Word) "sigconf" conference template available here (use sample-sigconf.tex from the acmart-primary.zip). Please read and follow the template's instructions carefully.
  3. Apply ACM Computing Classification categories and terms: the template provides space for this indexing. Please refer for this to the Computing Classification Scheme at: https://dl.acm.org/ccs/ccs.cfm
  4. Insert the ACM rights text (bibliographic strip, ISBN,  DOI, etc.) into your paper. This information is emailed to authors after they complete their eRights forms. The template provides space for this.

Please also make sure to consider the following:

  • Special note about reference formats: please follow the ACM in-text citation style as descriped in the ACM website.
  • ACM accessibility recommendations for publishing in color: please follow the recommendatons specified by ACM in the template guidelines to ensure that your article is still readable when printed in greyscale.
  • Generated PDF must have Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). ACM cannot substitute font types. This really must be done in the source files before the Postscript or PDF is generated. If bit-mapped fonts are used, they will not necessarily display legibly in all PDF readers on all platforms, though they will print out fine.
  • All fonts are embedded. Any PDF that is not deposited with fonts embedded will need to be corrected. In order to help you through this process, ACM has created documentation on how to embed your fonts. Please download the ACM Digital Library optimal distiller settings file, ACM.joboptions.
